When a lesbian couple fall in love across two continents and decide to live together, their families explode and embrace in unexpected ways, secrets unfold, leading to a collision that makes them all question the meaning of family.

This project started out as a documentary film, and developed into a feature-length narrative film that transgresses genre boundaries. The script relies heavily on the initial documentary research; however, it also takes creative leaps to build memorable characters, an intriguing and escalating dramatic arc that builds on multiple intersecting conflicts, that eventually coalesce into a much richer and satisfying story.
